College Representative Visits

What are College Representative Visits?

Every Fall, admissions counselors from colleges and universities across the country visit The Morgan School to meet directly with our students.  These representatives are often the specific admissions readers assigned to our region – meaning they are the people who will evaluate your application!

During a 20 to 30 minute small group visit, the representative will share key information about their school’s programs, campus life, scholarship opportunities, and admissions requirements.  You will also have time to ask questions directly.

Why Should You Attend?

  • Connect with Admissions Decision-Makers:  Build a personal connection with the person reviewing your application.
  • Show “Demonstrated Interest”:  Many colleges note sutdent attendance at rep visits, which can positively influence your admissions evaluation.
  • Get Answers to Specific Questions:  Learn details about campus culture, specific academic majors, and financial aid options that you cannot easily find on a website.
  • Explore Options Easily:  Learn about diverse colleges – from local universities to out-of-state school – without having to travel.
