The following spectator guidelines for our HOME sporting events have been collaboratively developed and adopted by member districts of the Shoreline Conference. All determinations related to spectators have been informed by guidelines set forth by the State of Connecticut, CIAC, local and state health departments, Shoreline Principals’ Association, Shoreline Athletic Directors, and superintendents. We are very excited to welcome our families and fans! This policy applies to all athletic events at The Morgan School and Eliot Middle School.
The Morgan School and the Eliot Middle School are CIAC Class Act Schools. We require that spectators honor the sportsmanship standards of conduct. We ask that spectators support the student-athletes from both schools by treating players, coaches, officials, and opposing fans with dignity and respect as they enjoy the game. Lastly, we ask that all spectators abide by the spectator policy to keep themselves and others safe. Below is a summary of the expectations and policies regarding spectators for the spring sports.
Spectator Policies
- Home and visiting spectators are permitted
- Spectators are not permitted on the court, playing field or track at any time
- Pets are prohibited at all venues
- No food or drink is allowed in the Morgan or Eliot gymnasium.
- For contests against schools that are outside the Shoreline Conference, please see opposing school websites for spectator policy.
Thank you for adhering to the CPS spectator guidelines and policies. Go Huskies!
