AP Test Day Information and Prep Note for Students

The day of your AP test is almost here! We know you’ve put in a lot of hard work, and now it’s time to show off all the knowledge and skills you’ve been building. Here’s everything you need to know to make sure you’re fully prepared and ready to crush your test!

Prep Tips:
Review Key Concepts: Focus on the main topics from the course. Make sure you understand core concepts, formulas, and important facts. Review any practice exams, notes, and past quizzes.

Take Practice Tests: If you haven’t already, do a couple of timed practice tests. This will help you get comfortable with the format and the time constraints.
Stay Healthy: In the days leading up to the test, get plenty of sleep, eat healthy meals, and stay hydrated. Avoid cramming the night before—trust the work you've already done!

Relax & Stay Positive: It's normal to feel nervous, but remember: you’re ready. Take a few deep breaths, stay calm, and do your best.

Test Day Details:
Where to Report: Please refer to the email from Mr. Grasso about which classroom/space we will use for the exam. Most AP exams will take place in the gym, conference room, or A Collab.

Time: Be sure to arrive a few minutes before the test starts. This will give you time to settle in, complete any necessary check-in procedures, and relax before the test begins.

Morning Exam: Report to your testing room at the start of school - 7:35 am.

Afternoon Exam: Check-in starts at 12 noon; you should go to first lunch and then come to the testing room at noon

What to Bring:
Charged Chromebook (with charger) - this is really important!

Two #2 pencils (with erasers).

Blue or black ink pens for sections requiring written responses (no gel pens).

Your own water and snacks (for breaks—no sharing!).

What NOT to Bring:
Cell phones, smartwatches, or any electronic devices: These must be turned off and left in your bag outside the testing room.
Books, notes, or any other materials that are not allowed by College Board.

Personal items: Leave your backpack, purse, and other bags in the designated area outside the test room. Only bring the essentials inside.

Final Thoughts:
You’ve been preparing for this moment, and now it’s your time to shine! Don’t stress about perfection—just focus on doing your best, and remember, this test is a step toward reaching your goals. Take it one question at a time, and don’t let any difficult parts throw you off.

We believe in you, and we know you’ve got this. You’ve already proven you can handle the hard work; now it’s time to finish strong!

Good luck, stay confident, and give it your all!

We’re rooting for you!
